The ARP Odyssey dates back to the '70s, and was ARP's attempt to get a piece of the Minimoog market. There were three versions of the Odyssey, with several revisions and differences among those three. While the unit is quite flexible, it's better at odd noises and wierd leads than "in-your-face" solo and bass lines.
