The VFX was the first all digital synthesizer from Ensoniq, the EPS sampler not withstanding. The unit featured transwaves, a type of wavesequencing, and some power synthesis options. The VFX is best for metallic evolving pads, harsh digital noises, and other fluid moving sounds.
